Elementary and Expansion Update
Dear parents,
We are excited
to announce that we have found another facility for our Elementary
program. In the middle of our expansion
project we discovered a facility that answered all of our needs for Elementary
including large playgrounds, sports fields, land for gardens and outdoor
activities, gymnasium, theatre and a cafeteria available to our students, it
became the logical place to grow our school!
Our new home for
our Elementary program for the 2013-2014 school year will be at the Pacific
Christian Center on the corner of San Antonio Blvd. and Arrow Hwy. We will begin
preparing the classroom and grounds during the summer session. We will also
have an open house soon so that everyone can have a chance to visit the new classroom.
We
will continue to offer the Infant/Toddler and Children’s House programs on our
current site. We have planned two
projects this summer to better meet the needs of our current school
community. We will be moving the
Infant/Toddler playground to the other side of the playground so that the
infants will play directly outside their classroom entrance. This will involve moving the current white
picket fence to a new location. The
Children’s House outdoor eating area will move over to the current Infant
eating area. This will be more
convenient for outdoor eating as it will put them very near their bathrooms and
kitchen for hot lunches. In addition we
will be adding a dishwasher and countertop to our existing kitchen to
accommodate the growing hot lunch program.
If you would
like to participate in the preparation of our new classroom at the new facility
or attend an information meeting and tour of the facility, or if you would be
willing to help with our playground project or kitchen project for this campus,
please contact me in the office.
Sincerely,
Adam Thewes
